Intertainer enters Elmo's world

"Won't you tell me how to get, how to get to
Sesame Street?" Now parents can plop their kids down in front
of the television any time of day, and find something educational
for them to watch. Big Bird, Elmo and the rest of the gang are
skipping into the digital age through a video-on-demand deal with
Intertainer.
The VOD deal gives Intertainer licensing rights to 21 half-hour
Sesame Street episodes, including The Best of Kermit on Sesame
Street, Cookie Monster's Best Bites, Getting Ready for School,
Learning to Share and The Great Numbers Game. Intertainer plans
to distribute the programming over its cable and IP platforms.
Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
